Biography

Will Longwitz brings more than two decades of litigation and dispute resolution experience to Pandit Law. His practice has included first-party property insurance claims, insurance litigation, commercial disputes, contract litigation, personal injury matters, and appellate work throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. 

As an insurance claim lawyer, Will has guided clients through litigation involving property loss claims and insurance disputes. His experience includes trial work, appellate matters, mediation, and other forms of dispute resolution. 

His experience includes: 

  • Representing policyholders in first-party property insurance claims and insurance disputes 
  • Handling bench trials and jury trials in state and federal courts 
  • Managing appellate litigation and writ practice 
  • Conducting mediations and settlement negotiations 
  • Overseeing complex and high-volume litigation matters 

Before joining private practice, Will served as a trial attorney with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where he litigated federal enforcement actions involving investigations, commodities regulations, and derivatives compliance matters. His background also includes private practice, service as an appointed county court judge, and as a legislator, giving him a broad perspective when helping clients resolve complex legal disputes.
