Brenda Ball, a native of New Orleans, works at Pandit Law Firm as an Intake Attorney for clients who suffered property damages and losses resulting from Hurricane Ida.
Brenda earned her Juris Doctor degree at Tulane Law School. While in law school, she worked in the Appellate Advocacy Clinic, participated in Intraschool Moot Court Competitions, and was a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation. After graduating from law school, she attended Louisiana State University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Loyola University in New Orleans.
Brenda’s legal background includes practicing law as a Solo Practitioner. She represented clients in general civil matters such as family law, personal injury and contracts. She also worked as an Assistant Indigent Defender for the Orleans Indigent Defenders Program, where she represented clients for DWI and misdemeanor cases. Additionally, Brenda worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Louisiana Supreme Court, as well as at the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans. Her legal research background is highlighted by her work as an Assistant Reference Law Librarian at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center Library.
Determined to experience all of her areas of interest, Brenda relocated to the Los Angeles area, where she worked in the entertainment industry for over ten years. She subsequently resumed her work in the legal field, returned home to New Orleans in 2021, and joined the Pandit Law Firm team in 2023. During her spare time, Brenda enjoys researching, dancing, working-out, attending festivals, eating foods of various cuisines (especially New Orleans’ cuisine, of course), and spending time with Bailey, her dog.
